Is There any Negative Marking for SSC Stenographer Exam?


Rules & Regulations for SSC Stenographer Exam:


Chandigarh: Staff Selection Commission is an organization that conducts exams to hire staff for different posts in the ministries and departments of the Indian Govt. The headquarters is situated in New Delhi and has regional offices in various states. The regional office is headed by the regional director, and the sub-regional office is headed by a deputy-director. The Selection Commission is held in the Centre Region office. The staff selection commission organizes stenographers Grade C & D Recruitment exam for filling up the vacancies in staff selection commission.

The examination paper covers segments such as General topics, Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and Testing the English Language and Comprehension. The examination has two levels, i.e.: Tier-I and Tier-II to select the right candidate for the job. The examination contains Objective type written test followed by personal interview and a medical exam. The participants taking the exam should be between the age group 18-27 years and should be Indian. Computer knowledge is compulsory. The applicant should be a graduate with any mandatory subject Economics /Mathematics/ Statistic. The male candidate should have height 157.5cms and chest 81cms. He should be able to walk 1600m in 15 minutes and cycling eight kms in 30 minutes. Similarly, the Female Candidate should have a height of 152 cm and weight 48 kg. She should be able to walk 1600m in 20 minutes and cycle three km in 25 minutes.

The SSC Stenographer exam is conducted every year. The questions are objective type questions. The questions will consist of options to choose for writing the right answer. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer selected. Students should be careful while answering the questions that there will be negative marking if the answer is wrong. It might affect the overall score of the examination. So attend the questions about which you are sure is correct.
