Chandigarh: The Staff Selection Commission organization recruits staff for various posts in various departments and ministries of the government of India. Combined Graduate Level Examination is conducted by the SSC for the same.
The CGL examination is divided into two parts Preliminary and Main Examination. The Preliminary examination syllabus consists of General Intelligence and General Awareness. In General Intelligence, both verbal as well as nonverbal types of questions will be included.
While in General Awareness the candidates' awareness towards his surroundings will be tested. The candidate who clears the Preliminary examination will be able to appear for the Main Exam. After which a personality test Interview will be conducted in which the candidates English, General Awareness and Intelligence and Reasoning Ability will be checked. If the candidate clears all the rounds, he or she will be recruited for the eligible Post.
What is the Probation Period for SSC Posts?
The Probation Period is an assessment time during which an employer can fire the employee without the clause. However, this clause is only part of the theory; one has to provide with clarification along with a fair reason before firing any individual. During the probation period, the employee has less job protection and has assessed to very few benefits and even fewer rights.
So it is essential that the employee carries out all his work in a very sophisticated manner and follows all the rules and regulations related to his work. It will be favorable if the employee stays aware of his work related responsibilities.
Throughout the probation period, you cannot lose the rights and the laws that are attached to them. It means that it is within your right to carry out a legal action towards your employer. If the employer is not honoring discrimination policies, pay schedules, and break requirements.
